Orvis "Rocky Mountain" Bamboo Rod 6 1/2 ft. 3/2For sale here is an Orvis "Rocky Mountain" bamboo rod model. This is a fairly rare pack rod model made by Orvis in 1967. The rod is 6 1 2 feet long and is intended for a DT5 or 6 weight line. The rod weighs 3 1 2 oz. The rod remains in excellent++ to near mint condition with original bag and tube. All sections are full length, straight, and have never been repaired.

One tip however has been broken about 4 1/2" from the top

2/2 for a 5-6 weight line

The dark brown agate line guide is unblemished

and the ferrule sizes are 17/64 & 26/64

The reel is right hand retrieve and in excellent++ overall condition
