Ron Kusse Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5Nice two piece rod from Ron Kusse, serial #8262 according to the hanging tag. Blonde cane, three up node pattern with no apparent swell. Dry fly action. The tips are not mirrored. Slim to medium cigar grip 12 corks, 5 3 4". Bright cap and ring seat (unoxidized) and the varnished spacer appears to be maple. The butt cap is stamped "Ron Kusse, Maker" in the cartouche. No rear cork check as reel seat wood meets the cork. No front cork check as there is a
nice and straight
The grip is a slim cigar with standard swiss ferrules and the rod has my "may rose" wraps

A nice Leonard 38H 2-piece
with excellent varnish
Varnish is in excellent condition
and with purple at the hook keeper and ferrules
A superb RL Winston fly wallet in excellent condition
Nicely varnished but has some fishing related scuffs in the varnish here and there
As with many of my rods from this period
this is an excellent condition copy
