Sam Carlson Quad Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5 [SALE PENDING]A beautiful Sam Carlson fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #5 line. Late 1950's model. Medium action. Weighs 4 ounces. "Carlson" is lettered in black ink. The wraps are all original and the varnish is stunning. Examination of the inner part of the guides reveals the rod was lawn cast with one tip only. The wraps are dark red with detached bands of lighter red and black. Agate stripper and high arch paddlefoot bronze snake guides. Chrome tip
