For sale here is a scarce 3 1/2" Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel circa 1920-21

All of them open and close as they should and add a bit of vintage flair to your tackle collection

The spigot ferrules fit perfectly with a small gap between sections to allow for wear over time

The rod is built with Hollow-T construction

Comes with Port Orford Cedar splice protectors and original bag

however the drag system was subsequently removed and upgraded by Ted Godfrey himself

Aluminum down-locking reel seat over a walnut spacer with nickel silver butt cap

The butt cap is engraved

The rod weighs 6 1/2 oz (the catalog and label weight is listed as 4 1/2 oz -- cane only I'm guessing)
