Hardy Crank Wind Fly Reel 2 1/2"For sale here is a 2 1 2" diameter Hardy dark bronzed crank wind reel. From early 1890s with nicely waisted crank handle and tapered, domed ebonite handle. Constant click check in both directions and no undue play. All pillars and foot appear to be original and in good order. A good example of this early Hardy reel with "Enclosed oval" logo. The dark colour and unmarked foot suggest this reel spent a lifetime in a cupboard. This reel is no longer for

This series of reels is the second produced by Ross in the early days when they were based in Etna
