View from above. The Section passes through the Pulmonary Artery at its Point of Bifurcation, while the Bronchi are cut just below the Bifurcation of the Trachea. This anatomy plate print was taken directly from the 19th century book Henke's Atlas of Surgical Anatomy, A Series of Plates
