From what I can gather from my research, it was made by Dave Atwood (Volstro) for HL Leonard back in the 1980's. He is said to have built about 200 of these reels but Leonard never took delivery of the reels because they filed for bankruptcy. The reel is suited for a 6DT or 7WF line and will take a lot of backing. The reel is in excellent + condition showing very few marks on the frame rims. It also comes
