Farlow Patent Lever ReelFor sale here is a 4 1 4" Farlow's Patent Lever, No. 380, plate wind reel. Spool width 2 1 8". Foot untouched ~ 3 7 16" long. Handle perfect and free turning. Check adjuster works fine. Superb sounding reel. This reel will ship from our UK office where Vintage Fly Tackle is now set up to accept consignments from the EU community.

The golden silks with maroon tipping blends nicely with the blonde cane

The rod itself is in near mint condition and appears to be all original

There is some minor soiling and erosion of the grip near the hood (pictured)

Some prior owner scratched through the Model and Size though

bright nickel silver cap and slide band reel seat with maker and model stamp

Brown silks with black tipping

The slide band reel seat is Spanish cedar and shows a small reel foot imprint

Simple click/pawl mechanism otherwise

this rod comes to me from a friend who suffered severe losses during the recent flooding in Vermont
